Bio

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida. I lived there for a short time and recall very little about it. However, I am still proud of being a native and enjoy stating that I am a genuine southern bell. I like to think the “sunshine state” gave me a warm personality! And thanks to the Jacksonville Jaguars, I am a dedicated NFL fan! 

Although I was born in the south, I grew up in much of the Midwest where I met my high school sweetheart and best friend. He later became my devoted husband. We have three wonderful children who inspire me daily. Their actions and opinions motivate my imagination while writing.  

Razzle, Dazzle, Princess Girl is my first book and was inspired by my daughter. It is frilly and heart melting. I know a lot of girls will relate to this book and enjoy it as much as we do.  

My son was the inspiration behind Hero Boy, my second book and companion to Razzle, Dazzle, Princess Girl. There are many interests in a boy’s life and a lot of them are portrayed in this book. We find Hero Boy engaging and fun, and trust boys everywhere will agree.
